Athena Award Winners
Congratulations to Washburn's 2025 Athena Award winner, Sydney Ruckett! The Athena Award honors one outstanding senior female student-athlete at every high school in Minnesota. With her inspiring positive attitude and her great work ethic, Sydney is an exceptional student-athlete who will be attending Brown University in the fall. In addition to earning four varsity letters in soccer and four in track, she demonstrated her leadership by being named a team captain four times, twice in soccer and twice in track. Here is a list of Washburn's Athena Award Winners.
