Baseball Booster Club

The Boosters support the Washburn High School Program by developing a community for the baseball program coaches, players and families. Through fundraising and booster fees, we financially support the spring and summer programs, allowing the spring program to roster 3 teams (B-Team, JV, and Varsity) as well as 2 summer teams.  We support the coaches by providing a centralized means of communication, email and parent/player meetings and events. The Boosters also provide training opportunities in the off-season to encourage the development of players who want to excel or play at the college level.

The Booster Club meets frequently, and meetings are open to coaches, parents, and players currently or interested in the program. Please send an email to the booster email to learn about meeting dates.

The Booster Club website is https://www.washburnbb.com/

The Booster Club email is washburnbaseball@gmail.com.
Please contact this email if you would like to be added to our email distribution list for information and events.   Please include the player's name and email address in the request.

Summer Baseball

The Washburn Baseball Boosters typically sponsor 2  Legion summer teams each year.  We provide all Washburn baseball players the opportunity to play in the summer which is the greatest time for player development.  The Legion season begins immediately after the high school season finishes.   We participate in 3 tournaments each summer and have games and training 2 to 3 days per week.  In lieu of tryouts for the summer teams, coaches will place interested Washburn players on the different teams according to age, ability and position.    For 7th and 8th graders who make a spring baseball team, we support continuing to play with their traveling summer team rather than playing Legion.
