Site Council

What is the Site Council?
The Site Council is a group of staff, parents, students, and community members who provide support and input to the Washburn High School administrative team. The Site Council is responsible for working on behalf of Washburn's common good and for all students.

Who can serve on the Site Council?
Any parent, student, staff member, or community member who supports the mission and vision of Washburn High School is eligible to serve. The Site Council seeks members with diverse backgrounds, cultures and interests, who represent our diverse student body. We strive to keep a balance of members based on feeder elementary schools and grades of students represented. Overall membership is limited.

When does the Site Council meet?
The Site Council meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month during the school year (September-May) from 4:30-6:00pm (at WHS in room 120D or online as needed.) Meeting times are subject to change based on the group's needs. Site Council meetings are open to the public.
