College Possible

College Possible is looking for more Juniors: if you are in the Class of 2027 and would like extra support through the entire college process, apply now! We get started with Juniors in October, so applying as soon as possible will set you up for success in our program.

We are Chris and Abby, the College Possible coaches at Washburn for the 25-26 school year. We’re available to meet with students Monday-Thursday during and after school, and are located in the CCC. We love connecting with Washburn students and supporting them as they work towards earning their college degree!

College Possible is a program designed specifically to empower students to overcome some of the most common barriers in applying to and succeeding at college. College Possible provides enrolled students with 1:1 coaching, group sessions, consistent support, and access to college visits and trips, all at zero cost. College Possible provides 6+ years of support for students, beginning in their junior year of high school and continuing through the student’s graduation from college.

  • College Possible is completely free for students and families
  • College Possible works with students interested in both 2 and 4-year programs, in-state and out
  • College Possible can help students navigate financial aid processes and find scholarships
  • College Possible’s coaching program includes 1:1 sessions (typically 1 a month), group sessions (1 a month), and consistent check-ins
  • College Possible currently has about 50 students at Washburn, and has room for 15-20 more juniors (class of 2027
  • College Possible students have access to Overgrad, an incredibly powerful tool for making college lists, finding scholarships, tracking applications, and learning more about schools
  • College Possible supports students from their junior year of high school through whenever they graduate from college
  • College Possible has been around for almost 25 years and has helped empower more than 80,000 students on their path to a college degree
